2010 Sontag Award Recipient

"It is inspiring to be in the company of the Sontags who transformed a difficult personal experience into an opportunity to serve humanity and lighten the heavy burden born by patients afflicted with brain cancer and their loved ones. It is through such associations that we learn what it means to be both kind and passionate, to sustain our strides to defy fate, to leave the world better than we found it."
