Bryan Boehling, CFA, CAIA

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Investment Officer

Bryan oversees the financial operations and investment functions for the Foundation.

Bryan serves as the CFO & CIO of The Sontag Foundation, The Spring Bay Companies, and the Brain Tumor Network. He is responsible for managing the financial and investment activities of the Foundation and the Sontag family-affiliated organizations. Bryan is a seasoned financial and investment professional with extensive experience operating within non-profit entities and institutional investment firms. His background spans asset management and direct investing, with expertise in both traditional and alternative strategies including equity, debt, and real assets across public and private markets worldwide. He has led strategy, managed asset allocations, and sourced investments for over $6.5 billion of investment portfolios. Prior to joining The Sontag Foundation, Bryan served as a Vice President at Corrum Capital, a private investment firm specializing in alternative credit and equity strategies. Prior to that, he was an Investment Director for Virginia Tech Foundation, where he served as a senior member on the internal investment committee and was responsible for managing the Foundation’s endowment portfolio. Bryan began his career at KippsDesanto Investment Bank, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder .
